Ganglia

Ganglia is a monitoring software package that we use to track system performance. The ganglia server (gmetad) is on Endeavour and all the other systems (including endeavour) run the client, gmond.

gmetad -> www (host)

gmond => (multicast) gmond (ganglia)

gmetad <- gmond (head node) (ganglia)

gmetad <- gmond (clients other than ganglia)
